Translate:                   What is CoupleBox? CoupleBox is a new software application that gives you total peace-of-mind for your personal photos and videos. It runs on your PC as a totally standalone application and for your security has no internet connectivity whatsoever. With its integrated library system and specialized player it creates a private haven to enjoy your stuff. The more technical types among you might think of it as a "Personal Integrated Media Player & Encryption Device" - or more simply "PIMPED". What are the main features of CoupleBox beyond security? Security is just the start. CB provides a completely new and better way to organize and view your stuff. Most collections are just a mass of files that rarely get looked at. With CB's dedicated Album and Photo Series your collection is easy and fun to browse. You can also mark your faves and select your own cover art. The player provides a neat freeze-frame rewind and fast forward that is fully keyboard controlled and works in full-screen mode. In the player you can call up playlists with just two clicks, e.g. 'play me all my favorite photo series'.   You can then sit back and let CB serve you up a slideshow. CB also provides a function to backup your collection. In all, it is everything you need to enjoy your collection to its fullest. Will CoupleBox improve our love life? No guarantee, but like anything related to love and sex, its always worth trying. When I'm using CoupleBox there is a slight pause when I open an Album that has a lot of images in it. Is this normal? Yes it is, especially on slower machines. The reason is that everything in your collection including the thumbnail images, names and fave status etc is encrypted. CoupleBox only unencrypts these things as you view them so this takes a little time for each one. Hence, for a full page you may notice a short delay. Better that than everything being unprotected. Once I have put stuff into CoupleBox can I take it out easily to edit it? Sure, it’s as easy as right-clicking on an image or video then selecting – Export. And then guess what, it exports the file to wherever you wish. Now be careful with it out there. How secure is my stuff? Very. Firstly access to your collection is strictly password controlled. Secondly, inside your collection all files and file names are secured by strong 256 bit encryption. However, if the National Security Agency for some reason wanted to expose pictures of your babe, then the egg-heads might well be able to do it, but then you’d have bigger problems! You should also maintain good PC security hygiene by keeping your machine free of viruses and spyware (key stroke loggers can compromise any password protected system) and by using any of the many disk 'washers' that are available to ensure your deleted files are fully removed (we may add this functionality to CoupleBox in a later version). Is CoupleBox virus free? Yes. We take your security very seriously. Our development environment is strictly controlled and each release is rigourously tested. Because CoupleBox has no internet connectivity it is safer from virus attacks than applications that do link to the internet. Can single people use CoupleBox too? Absolutely. Everyone has their personal stuff. But we do recommend you try and find a willing and loving partner as soon as possible. Can CB be hidden on my computer? When CB is installed it will add a link in your program menu and a short-cut on your desk-top. If you want it to be more discrete you can remove CB from the menu by simply right clicking on the entry and selecting delete (this does not remove the program). You can also move the shortcut to wherever you wish. For advanced users, you can even rename the CoupleBox program folder - if you really want to! Does CoupleBox store videos as well as stills? CB will accept most standard types of video file, including AVIs, Mpeg (and Mpeg 2 if you have a codec). DVI files can be imported in AVI-DVI format. See our technical page for the full goss. Is there a way to access my stuff if I forget my password? Secure means secure. If you forget your password and your hint does not make you remember it then you will not be able to view files. The only way you can retrieve them is by reinstalling CoupleBox and providing your original program key (which we remind you to keep safe). If you’re that worried then Angie suggests you could try tattooing the password somewhere private - and interesting. If I use CB do I still need my photo and video editing software? Yes, you will still use your current software to touch-up and edit your photos and videos before you load them safely into CoupleBox. If at any time you want to re-edit things in CB you simply export them, make whatever edits you want using your existing software, then load the new versions back in to the security of CB. I own a desktop machine and a laptop. Can I install CoupleBox on both machines? Yes you can, though each will maintain its own collection.
